Register
Register time is our first step in encouraging confidence and independence, the children sit amongst their peers supported by the adults. We take the register saying good morning to everyone, discuss achievements, rules and the morning's activities.
9.45am onwards
Free Play
Children are offered a wide variety of activities to choose from such as home corner, craft, messy play, small world and construction.
10.00 - 10.30am
Snack Time
Snack will be available from 10.00am – 11.00am for children to sit and have a drink and something to eat during this time. Snack consists of a drink; milk or water and a healthy snack.
10.30 – 11.00am
Outdoor Play
Children get into their outdoor clothes and go outside to play. A variety of equipment and experiences are available daily such as the very popular mud kitchen.
11.40 – 12.00pm
Story/Music Time
All children and purple ladies sit together to enjoy stories and rhymes.
12.45 – 1.00pm
Collection Time
As children finish their lunch, they pack away ready to be collected.

Register/Circle Time
All the children sit on the mat and the room leader takes the register, children take it in turns to talk about what they have been doing. Group rules are discussed and the day’s activities.
9.45 – 10.45am
Free Play
Children can move between rooms choosing their own activities and games. There is a wide variety of choices such as home corner, small world and construction toys, puzzles and maths games, ICT equipment, drawing and mark making and craft activities.
Activities can be child led or adult focused and adults are always on hand to offer guidance, support or challenge learning.
Snack is available between 10.00-11.00am for all children to access.
10.45 - 10.55am
Tidy Up Time
Children help adults tidy away all the toys and equipment.
10.55 – 11.05am
Story Time
All children and adults sit together to listen to a story.
11.05 – 12.00pm
Outside Play
Children spend time outdoors daily accessing a variety of resources such as vehicles, playhouses and our new wooden stage and shop area.
11.40 – 12.00pm

We complete our register outside and go out come rain or shine. We have a lovely undercover area for even the wettest of days.

Free Play
A range of activities are set out for the children to enjoy. Some activities will be adult focused and the children are encouraged to take part in them while other activities are set out for the children to choose.
2.20 - 2.50pm

Group Activity
The first task is to tidy up and then the children join in a group activity which can be a variety of experiences including singing, group story or circle time.
